Bendalo Essentials was established by Zekhethelo Mkhize, who says she started the company because she wants black people to embrace their hair and the pigmentation of their skin, she adds that starts by using the right products. Zekhethelo says most skin and hair brands are mixed with chemicals that are not entirely good for the skin.
Bendalo Essentials was established when Zekhethelo could not find employment, she says she could not just sit and wait for life to happen to her, so she started making means of income for herself.

Zekhethelo did her undergraduate degree in BA Health Science and Social Science throuth the University of South Africa and also holds a BA in Social Science honours degree majoring in Psychology from the University of Kwazulu Natal, she completely understands what she is providing her clients with through Bendalo Essentials. She says she wants help people through Bendalo Essentials because she believes if she helps one person that person might one other person.
