Models from Miss Port Edward were part of the charity fashion and arts event at the Wild Coast Sun in 2019 sharing the catwalk with former Miss SA and Miss Universe, Zozibini Tunzi. This year’s event will be powered by the Recycle 4 Africa Group as the main sponsor and the Wild Coast Sun as the venue sponsor. “My passion for beauty pageants started when I was just a little but it was a struggle to find good pageants locally in Lurholweni, Bizana. I had to travel to Durban most of the time” said the founder and director of SA Models Foundation, Minentle Qatsi.

I noticed later on that there was a need for growth hence decision to rebrand the competition to accommodate the South Coast as well” she continued.[/perfectpullquote]
