South African youth council induction at Lunganakho country lodge Zikhuba ward 23 the induction took a closer look at the current special program office programmes and identified that they are outed and do not meet the need of the youth and the induction needs to be carefully done for members to understand the policies of the South African Youth council.
“As the current generation have no clear defined goal of what we want for ourselves, so it beats me how are we going to be part and parcel of influencing change. We boldly stand and say aluta continua we say the struggle continues against what where as we do not have a clear defined destination”. Said Chairperson of SAYC Hadjie Smith
Young people had a chance to engage and share ideas on how to get ahead and collaborate in making sure they are active participants in in the economic landscape of the district. Chairperson of the Business Chamber, Ayanda Notshweleka shared words of wisdom. He shared that young people are game changers and they have a responsibility of breaking down how they want to change the game. He emphasized that the tender system is not sustainable young people must do research on business and fully understand financial management because it is useless to run a business not understanding how take care of its money.
Young people were encouraged to have a united front and have creative ways supporting one another.
Ingwe TVET college Isithetho Campus shared that it is introducing new courses like Hospitality and Carpentry it has been one of the cry things for the youth of Bizana hoping that young people will not travel to big cities leaving a college in their home town.
