Eastern Cape’s MEC Xolile Nqatha, accompanied by Matatiele municipal council members, addressed Ward 21 residents about an incomplete road project.

Nqatha confirmed a contractor’s abandonment of the project but assured swift action, promising completion by year-end. Discussions with Sanral aim to transfer responsibility for construction and maintenance to expedite the process.

In the meantime, a maintenance truck ensures passable roads. This collaborative effort underscores a commitment to residents’ safety and infrastructure enhancement.
