Acknowledging the significant public interest in the case, particularly from both local and international media, Lieutenant General Mkhwanazi assured that updates will be shared transparently, prioritizing communication with the affected families before disseminating information to the public.

Emphasizing the sensitivity of the ongoing investigation, Mkhwanazi underscored the need to avoid compromising the process by disclosing premature details. He emphasized that the investigation into the ‘AKA’ and Tibs’ murder case is intricate, requiring meticulous analysis of substantial evidence.

Expressing gratitude to the dedicated detectives tirelessly pursuing justice, the Provincial Commissioner reiterated the commitment to ensuring that victims and their families receive the closure and justice they deserve.
