Multi-award winning South African musician Zahara, renowned for her hit song “Loliwe,” has tragically passed away at the age of 35 due to complications from liver issues.

The beloved singer, whose real name is Bulelwa Mkutukana, breathed her last on Monday night at a private Johannesburg Hospital, with her fiancé Mpho Xaba by her bedside.

Family spokesperson Oyama Dyosiba expressed difficulty in reaching Xaba, and a formal statement from the family is anticipated.
