Siphokazi Mazwi, the Development and Care Coordinator for the Kokstad Management Area, emphasized the need for women to support those in positions of power and abandon the “PHD” (Pull Her Down) syndrome. She encouraged those in influential roles to identify individuals with potential and nurture them in their respective fields. Mazwi stressed the importance of women lifting each other up and eliminating mockery.

Thobela Ndatyana, the Acting Head of Centres at Kokstad Medium, commended her female colleagues for their outstanding work. She acknowledged that women can sometimes be known for gossip and conflicts, but she also recognized their maturity in resolving disputes and differences. Ndatyana saw this as a sign that women are in a position to take the lead in resolving their own issues.

The event’s guest of honour, Prophetess Pokotho, delivered a motivational message, encouraging the women not to shy away from their faith and to understand their self-worth.

The empowering session concluded with a delightful meal and uplifting music, creating a positive and memorable experience for all attendees.
