ORTDM Risk Management team visits Port St Johns

The O.R. Tambo District Municipality (ORTDM) Disaster and Risk Management team continues to monitor the situation at Green Farm in Port St Johns today.

This follows the heavy rains that are being experienced in different parts of the district.

The municipality spokesperson, Zimkhitha Macingwana, says to ensure that community members are safe, the Disaster and Risk Management teams are on high alert and have already observed high water levels in parts of Coffeebay in King Sabata Dalindyebo Local Municipality and the Green’s Farm area in Port St Johns Local Municipality.

The mayor urges anyone to report the incidents on 047 501 6494 / 047 501 6584.
