Zama-Zama FC emerged as champions of the vibrant Ntshamathe Soccer Tournament, held over the weekend of 14 to 15 June 2025. The two-day event brought together eight local teams for a thrilling showcase of talent, unity, and grassroots football spirit.

The participating teams included Citizen FC, Zinini FC, Home Defenders, Zama-Zama FC, K Leon FC, Impisi FC, Guqa FC, and Ntlozelo Route Line FC. Spectators were treated to a packed fixture schedule that kicked off early Saturday morning and continued through to Sunday’s finals.

Zama-Zama FC clinched the championship title after a series of commanding performances, earning them the tournament trophy, gold medals, a full Joma kit, and a R1,200 cash prize. The runners-up were awarded silver medals, a full kit, and R1,000, while the third-place finishers received bronze medals and R1,800 in cash.

Tournament organiser expressed pride in the event’s success, noting the high level of discipline and sportsmanship displayed by all teams. The Ntshamathe community came out in full force to support the players, creating a festive atmosphere that celebrated not only football but local unity and pride.
