At just 25 years old, Nqubula Zukisani, known by his stage name Kidsain-Hoodlum, is making waves in the music industry, hailing from the small town of Lusikisiki in the Eastern Cape but currently residing in Durban’s vibrant community of Chatsworth. Despite his relatively young age, Zukisani’s journey as a musician and artist is one marked by perseverance, creativity, and a passion for his craft.
Reflecting on his roots, Zukisani began his career as an assistant teacher at Damorosa Pre-Vocational School, finding inspiration and support from his siblings to pursue his musical aspirations.

With a diverse range of talents, Zukisani is a musician who dabbles in various genres but specializes in hip-hop. From collaborations with local talents like T-sox, Gee-ik, and Pastor Hlekani to ventures into the Johannesburg and Nigerian music scenes, Zukisani has steadily built a name for himself.
In 2023, he released a track titled “IXETSHA,” embracing his Xhosa heritage and infusing it with his signature style. Additionally, his feature on Bulletman’s “Forbidden Cypher” demonstrates his growing influence and recognition within the industry.
