Library Awareness Campaign

In trying to promote Library usage, instilling a culture of reading and lifelong learning, Winnie Madikizela-Mandela Local Municipality (WMMLM) together with the Department of Sports, Recreation, Arts and Culture (DSRAC) earlier today hosted a Library Awareness Campaign at Nobukhwe Gwala Community Hall (Ebhenezer) in ward 24.

The purpose of this awareness was to alert the community that new library services are available and open for public use at Wild Coast Sun Academy Premises (formerly known as UNISA offices).

Ms Mqeke, who was doing the business of day urged community members to make use of this library and further said that the library is for all and it has access to Free Wifi.

Three schools attended this session and they were Plangeni JSS, eBhenezer JSS and Zamokuhle Special School. Mr B. Mdliva from Wild Coast Sun appreciated the government departments for their co-operation in this project.

New library opened

A member of Komkhulu said that Komkhulu supports the library and thanked the municipality for this great initiative and urged the public to take care of this library because it will be useful to the community.

This session was graced by WMMLM councillors, DSRAC, Department of Education (DoE), Wild Coast Sun and iKomkhulu.
