We speak to the Prominent Volo Da Saint about his recent Award and the upcoming Bizana All White Event.  

“Receiving the Award was a big thing, it was a cry thing for me it actually showed that the people really appreciate what I do, because it was not the judges that chose me. It was the votes from the people. That was the most important thing for me more than the award itself, knowing that people really believe in what I do”

The most talked about and anticipated Bizana all White Event is almost here, we speak to the event organizer Volo Da Saint about it. The event has brought about a lot of controversy and excitement on the socials. The organizer says he had expected a backlash from people, because it is something foreign to them, however the aim is to change the narrative, mind and perspective step by step. He continued to say that People who look at this event from a positive perspective are inspired.

“I’m taking something that people normally see on TV bringing it home, at the same I don’t want it to lose that touch of being a top high class event” Volo Da Saint

The prominent organiser added that even though the standard of the event is high, he also wants it to be an inclusive event hence tickets start from as little as R250. He also made sure that people have enough time to plan for it. On planning and timing: Volo Da Saint says he thought about the event around march, but he wanted to give people enough time to plan and he does not want people to be bombarded with events to a point where they lose interest.

“It feels so Surreal that people have already started securing tables and buying tickets, I am grateful for the support” he elaborated. He said that he thinks he has solidified his brand, so much that people have already started buying tickets without even knowing who’s hosting and coming. “It is a great and humbling feeling to know that people have so much faith in the work that I do” he said.
