Eastern Cape Police have caught and re-arrested a third prisonor who escaped from custody in Makhanda last week.
According to Police Spokesperson Warrant Officer Majola Nkohli, Trymore Chauke was allegedly asking people for food in the farming community of Seven Fountains in Makhanda on Sunday and the tracking team responded.
He says within 30 minutes Chauke was arrested.
Police still iterated and urged the public not to confront the suspects and alert the police of any suspicious people in their neighborhoods as four of the prisoners are still on the run and are deemed dangerous.
It is believed that the circumstances around the escape is being investigated by the Department of Correctional Services.
