Diatele Mphoso (24) who was a newsreader at Unitra Community Radio has left the station she served with integrity for four years. Mphoso released the statement on Friday, 13 May 2022 emphasizing that she had to look for new challenges.

Diatele is known for her versatility and Flexibility as she would present Sesotho, IsiXhosa and English news bulletins. She also would go all out in covering the stories and has faced almost all the challenges that come with journalism, be it brutality on the field or financial issues, most especially in a community sector where she was serving.

It is not new that journalists take a curve to communications departments when looking for greener pastures. This has applied with Mphoso who confirmed that she joins Independent South African National Civic Organization (ISANCO) as a media liason officer.

“I look forward to beginning of a new chapter and a life of advocacy for South African people”. Said Mphoso.
