To commemorate Heritage Day on 24 September this year, Pondoland Times has decided to hold a Writing competition

Every year on the 24^th of September, Heritage Day is celebrated all over South Africa.   On this day South Africans are encouraged to take pride as people and a country that is making great strides in promoting social and cultural diversity.

We are hosting a writing competition for all South Africans of all ages as our way of honoring South Africa’s rich heritage and instilling a sense of national pride. Participants are to write an article on Heritage Day. The article must be genuine, unique, and interesting. There is no set length for the article; write as much as you want.

The winner will win R250 airtime voucher, their article will be published on print and digital (Pondoland Times website). The winning article will also be published on all Pondoland Times social media platforms.

The entries will close on Thursday 22 September at midnight.
