On Monday, Winnie Madikizela Mandela Local municipality Mayor Cllr T.D. Mafumbatha welcomed Sinovuyo Mbotho, a bodybuilding champion from Mhlanga village in Bizana, to her office. The mayor congratulated Mbotho on winning a national trophy and preparing to represent South Africa at the IFBB World Men’s Bodybuilding Championship in Iran.
During the meeting, Mbotho shared his journey in bodybuilding, expressing his passion for the sport and his commitment to making South Africa proud on the global stage.
Mayor Mafumbatha praised Mbotho’s hard work and dedication, saying his success shows the talent and determination of the youth in the Winnie Madikizela-Mandela Local Municipality. She wished him the best as he gets ready for the international competition, which will be held from September 23rd to 27th, 2024.
