In a developing story that has stirred local football circles, FC Ravens will not face any charges following a recent dispute brought before the South African Football Association (SAFA). According to a post by the Facebook page All Football News with SK, the court has found that Ravens cannot be held responsible for issues involving appointed officials and did not breach any official regulations.

“FC Ravens will not be charged because they are not responsible to appointed officials and they did not break any rule,” the page quoted from an unnamed source close to the matter.

The court proceedings appear to have stemmed from a case brought by Sinenkani FC, who argued that their concerns were not being properly addressed by SAFA. However, the court did not issue a ruling on match points, nor did it mandate any points be awarded to any party.

“If you listened very well, court didn’t give points to anyone but ordered SAFA to listen to Sinenkani FC’s case, as it is their right to be listened [to] like everyone [else]. But no one spoke about points deduction,” the post continued.

The source concluded by emphasizing that FC Ravens’ rights must also be protected: “As long as SAFA doesn’t violate FC Ravens’ rights.”

The dispute highlights ongoing challenges within local football governance, especially in ensuring transparency and equal treatment for all teams involved.
