The 2025 Nedbank Cup Final will go down in history as the first-ever to feature both Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs in a cup decider, with the match scheduled for Saturday, 10 May at Durban’s Moses Mabhida Stadium. The Premier Soccer League confirmed that kick-off will be at 15:30, and fans are urged to secure their tickets early to avoid disappointment.

Ticket sales officially open on Monday, 5 May at 10:00 AM. Supporters can purchase their tickets for R150 each from any Shoprite, Checkers, or online via OpenTickets. A maximum of four tickets per person will be allowed. Hospitality packages are also available and can be booked by contacting the PSL via booking@sail.co.za or by calling 082 805 3150.

This eagerly anticipated final brings together two of the most supported teams in the country in a rare high-stakes encounter. Orlando Pirates will be chasing their third consecutive Nedbank Cup title after a strong run which saw them defeat Richards Bay, Baroka FC, SuperSport United, and Marumo Gallants. Kaizer Chiefs, on the other hand, are hoping to lift their first major trophy since 2013. Their road to the final included wins over Milford FC, Stellenbosch FC, AmaZulu, and a hard-fought 2-1 semifinal victory over Mamelodi Sundowns.

The PSL has warned supporters to only buy tickets through official channels, as fraudulent tickets will not be accepted at the stadium. Security will be tight, and fans are reminded to comply with stadium rules for a safe and enjoyable experience.

This final is not just about silverware, but pride, legacy, and bragging rights. It will be a must-watch spectacle, with the country’s eyes firmly on Durban as the nation’s most intense football rivalry is played out in one of its most iconic stadiums.
