The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) has officially confirmed its grant payment schedule for July 2025, helping millions of South Africans plan their expenses for the month.
According to the 2025/2026 financial year calendar, payments will be made as follows:
- Older Persons Grant: Wednesday, 2 July 2025
- Disability Grants: Thursday, 3 July 2025
- Children’s Grants: Friday, 4 July 2025
As always, recipients are reminded that there is no need to rush to withdraw money on the first day, as funds will remain available in accounts until they are needed. Beneficiaries can access their grants from ATMs, retailers, Postbank cards, or their chosen bank accounts.
This schedule applies to permanent social grants such as the Older Persons, Disability, and Child Support grants, and does not include the R350 SRD (Social Relief of Distress) grant, which follows a different schedule communicated monthly via the SASSA website and social media platforms.
