The CAF Champions League quarterfinal lineup is now complete, with Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns discovering their potential opponents in the Last-8.
After securing top spot in Group C with a convincing win over Al Ahly, Pirates will face one of the runners-up from the other three groups. According to CAF regulations, group winners will play against runners-up in the quarterfinals, with teams from the same group not facing each other again.
Possible opponents for Pirates include MC Alger (Group A runners-up), Pyramids (Group D runners-up), and surprisingly, Mamelodi Sundowns (Group B runners-up). Sundowns could also be drawn against Esperance de Tunis (Group D winners) or Al-Hilal (Group A winners).
The quarterfinal draw date has not been confirmed by CAF yet. The first leg matches will be played at the home grounds of the runners-up.
