The Mbhashe Local Municipality says the Ntlinini to Botwe access road project is nearing completion, with most construction work already finished.
What happened
The Municipal Public Accounts Committee (MPAC) conducted an oversight visit to the Ntlinini–Botwe Access Road project.
The project is a 7.5km gravel road, designed to improve access in the area.
According to the municipality, major construction activities — including site establishment, clearing, and bridge construction — are complete.
Earthworks are reported to be 95% finished.
Minor delays were recorded due to rainfall.
