On Sunday 28, August, female offenders incarcerated at Kokstad Medium Correctional Centre had an opportunity of being uplifted spiritually by Women’s Manyano from Methodist Church of Southern Africa Brooksnek Circuit Clarkebarry District from Emaxesibeni.

This crusade was in line with women’s day month that is to come to an end. Chaplain Lokwe from Kokstad Management Area said this is done to ensure that offenders are rendered moral renewal in the offender rehabilitation journey.

The theme of the sermon was unity in diversity, it does not matter where you come from and where you are right now we serve one God. This scripture was inline department’s care policy, it enables positive human values are restored, developed and adopted towards a humanitarian culture of reconciliation, forgiveness and healing.
