Zinini Primary School in Bizana hosted its farewell and awards ceremony on 27 November 2025. The event celebrated Grade 7 learners as they prepared to move on to high school. Parents attended in large numbers to support their children and witness their achievements.
Learners were recognised for their hard work throughout the year. Odwa Mbotho and Lubanzi Ngubo received awards for participating in the English Spelling Bee. Madlala Hlelokuhle took first place in the Grade R language Festival, while Bhiva Yolanda secured third place in the Grade R Language Festival.

School principal Mr Nokwindla thanked teachers for organising a successful ceremony. He noted that Zinini Primary has a small enrolment because the surrounding community is small. He encouraged neighbouring communities to bring their children to the school so that learner numbers can grow. He also advised the Class of 2025 to stay focused, choose the right friends, and associate with people who are progressive.
Teacher Mrs Ncwayiba said working with young children can be challenging, but she appreciates their respectfulness and eagerness to learn.
Outgoing learner Lithakazi Gawushe expressed her gratitude to teachers for their support. Parent Zisanda Mehlo also thanked the educators for making the day memorable and meaningful.
