The Tsolo New Home Pre-School was officially handed over on 19 November in Nkumkani-Mhlontlo Local Municipality. The project celebrates a major step in expanding early childhood development infrastructure in the area. Community partners and local leaders joined residents to celebrate the milestone.
What Happened
Officials and stakeholders gathered to open the newly completed pre-school, which will now serve families in Tsolo and surrounding villages.
Moreover, the facility provides safer classrooms, improved learning spaces, and a supportive environment for young children. Leaders highlighted that investing in early childhood development builds stronger foundations for future education.
Official Response
Local leadership thanked partners and community members who helped deliver the project.
“This investment in our children’s early years is an investment in the future of our communities,” officials said during the handover. They added that the school represents the municipality’s commitment to building secure and nurturing spaces.
The handover also reaffirmed the municipality’s broader mission to move Kumkani Mhlontlo forward through steady service delivery.
