The MDDA has partnered with Digify Africa, an institution that carries out training on behalf of Facebook (now called META) until 2024

As part of MDDA’s drive to assist community media projects become more sustainable and transition into the digital era, Digify Africa on Wednesday trained 60 beneficiaries on the digital marketing aspect of Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

In 2022/23 the digital training program will cover 3 modules including:

  • The use of Facebook (Meta) family of apps to raise awareness for lower businesses & profitability
  • Reaching audiences with personalised ads on social media platforms
  • Getting Creative – Practical exercises

Wednesday’s training took place at Kennaway Hotel in East London, Eastern Cape from 10h00 – 16h00.
