Sterkspruit-born local traditional artist Kholokoe Ralekoa released a new single MATHATA A LEFATSHE which emphasizes the problems he encountered in life his struggles and losing people dearest to his heart. “The inspiration behind the single is to advise and help people who are facing difficult times to heal and also know that they are not the only ones going through a rough patch,” he explains. Besides being an upcoming artist and a choreographer, he is currently pursuing a career in business management.
Kholokoe’s journey as a musician started in 2019 August when he discovered his talent as a singer and started a group despite everything, he managed to overcome his prior goal which was too was to at least release a single.

He believes that music plays a huge role in bringing people together and as a brand what he hopes to achieve is to be the first South African Sesotho traditional artist who fought for recognition of Sesotho traditional music and be the biggest brand and turn it into a business as a record label.
When starting out we all have some setbacks but that does not mean one has to give up, having challenges of not being recognized and having a lack of communication as a group did not stop him from trying to achieve his goal.
“Know what you want in life and have patience, strong understanding that in life as an artist you will face some challenges but never give up every successful artist once faced some setbacks but they never gave up until they pulled through,” he concludes.
