King Sabata Dalindyebo Municipality opened its Human Settlements Strategic Planning Session at the Enkululekweni Council Chambers in Mthatha on 11 November 2025. The two-day session brings together key stakeholders to align plans on land use management, housing delivery, and integrated development.

They also shared updates on projects in the pipeline aimed at addressing housing shortages, supporting economic growth, and improving living conditions for KSD communities. KSD Executive Mayor G.N. Nelani stressed the importance of collective effort and responsible use of resources. “We have made strides as KSD, but that is not enough. Therefore, this session must produce resolutions that are robust, implementable, and achievable so we can better serve the community of KSD,” he said.
