The Gauteng High Court has dismissed an urgent application by the former South African Tourism (SAT) board to be reinstated. The case was struck from the roll, confirming the legitimacy of Minister Patricia de Lille’s actions in dissolving the board.
“I have been vindicated. I followed the law to the letter,” said Minister de Lille on 15 October 2025.
The Minister has now formally opened the public nomination process to appoint a new South African Tourism board.
