Gwede Mantafshe who is the ANC national chair person was booed off stage at COSATU’s 14th elective conference in Midrand, Johannesburg, while attempting to address delegates on Monday.
It is said that COSATU members were chanting “hamba, Gwede hamba”( leave Gwede) the workers gave him not chance to speak.

Mantashe was meant to deliver a message of support from the ANC but the workers were adamant that they wanted nothing to do with him delivering any message of support forcing the orgernisers to adjourn the operations.
