Sasol Banyana Banyana have reconvened for national team duty as they begin final preparations for their last international match of 2025. The squad assembled this week after qualifying for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) last month.
What Happened
A total of 23 locally based players reported for camp in Boksburg on Monday, 25 November. They immediately got to work with an intensive training session focused on tactical sharpness and physical readiness.
However, the squad faced a minor disruption when veteran defender Lebohang Ramalepe was released due to medical reasons.
The team is expected to continue training through the week before flying out to Morocco on Friday.
