Tshegafatso Mabasa late brace helped South Africa to advance to the semi finals where they will face an in form Zambia while Malawi will face Lesotho.

Bafana Bafana yesterday held in horns against Eswatini and managed to defeat the neighbours despite Eswatini scoring first. The introduction of Orlando Pirates striker Tshegafatso Mabasa in the second of of the game helped Bafana Bafana as he bagged a brace at 76 minute and 88 minute of the game

“I would like to congratulate the boys for the undying spirit after trailing behind by a single goal but we pushed too hard because we knew that a win it’s a must, also I am happy that I played my part and score two goals for the nation” said Mabasa

Mabasa further says he is happy that we scored his brace following the poor finishing he had in their last game last Saturday and the striker was awarded as a man of the match.
