The Eastern Cape Department of Transport (ECDOT) has graduated 126 traffic trainees, including 21 from the Alfred Nzo District. The newly qualified traffic officers will be deployed across the district, increasing law enforcement visibility, particularly during the festive season.

The deployment of these officers is part of the department’s plan to introduce a 24/7 shift system, aimed at reducing road fatalities. The Alfred Nzo District has also produced five top achievers, including Ayabulela Nogabe, who hails from KwaBhaca and was named Top Student in Legal and overall achiever.
