A 32 year old male was arrested by police in Motherwell on 01 October 2022 at about 00:15 after allegedly stabbing his brother to death.
This followed after SAPS Motherwell was alerted to the stabbing when the 35 year old victim, Mthobeli Mdala was taken to the Motherwell Health Centre. Quick follow up ensured that his 32 year old brother, Anele Mdala was arrested and a knife confiscated after police were told that the brother stabbed the victim after they allegedly had an argument at their house in Mgwalana Street, NU6, Motherwell. Mthobeli passed away at the health centre shortly afterwards.
The 32 year old suspect is appearing before the Motherwell magistrates Court today (03/10/2022).
