Police in Mthatha are investigating a case of kidnapping following a report of a 9 year old who was allegedly kidnapped on Sunday, 9/10 in Link location.
It is alleged that on the mentioned date at about 12:30, the complainant’s ex-boyfriend of Maiden Farm Mthatha, took the child while she was not home.
As soon as she was reported missing, police hunted for the suspect and found her at his residential place.
The 42 year old suspect was arrested at about 01:50 this morning, 9/10.
He is expected to appear in the Mthatha magistrate court soon on a charge of kidnapping.
