“I won’t be a Hitler” – Says New Kaizer Chiefs Head Coach

Date:

20 April 1889 – 30 April 1945) was an Austrian-born German politician who was the dictator of Germany from 1933 until his death in 1945.

The announcement was made at Chiefs’ headquarters in Naturena on Thursday morning.

Ex-Chiefs winger Zwane, 48, who’s coaching started in Amakhosi’s’ development programme, has been caretaker-coach of the club along with fellow assistant Sheppard three times in the last two years.

Arthur Zwane has promised not to be “a hitler” as Kaizer Chiefs’ new full-time coach he spearheads the mission to bring back days to Amakhosi.

“If you want to apply for failure and be a “Hitler”, from where you rule like him with what you’re saying being the final word, it doesn’t happen like that in football.”

“You have to listen to other people and I’m fortunate that I’m surrounded by good people and the support I’m getting from the chairman and the relevant stakeholder.”

“I consider myself lucky that I’m in this position because not everybody gets an opportunity to coach Chiefs,” Zwane said.

Chiefs ended the 2021-22 season in fourth place in the Premiership but that position is likely to change as rivals Orlando Pirates are due to end their campaign with two more games against Royal AM today and SuperSport United on 30th May 2022.
