Estranged Wife of King Dalindyebo Aligns with Economic Freedom Fighters

In a stirring declaration of support, Queen Khazeka, estranged wife of AbaThembu King Buyelekhaya Zwelibanzi Dalindyebo, announced over the weekend that a group of elderly individuals has joined the ranks of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), expressing their commitment to the party’s mission of justice and equality.

Among the new recruits is a remarkable centenarian who has witnessed over a century of South Africa’s history and has chosen to stand with the EFF in the ongoing struggle for a fair and just society. At 101 years old, his decision to align with the EFF brings a wealth of experience and wisdom to the movement, enriching its cause.

Joining him are several other elderly individuals who have shared their experiences of enduring the oppressive measures of the apartheid era. Recounting days of segregation, carrying passbooks, and enduring degrading treatment, they express relief at being freed from the shackles of apartheid but lament the current state of affairs under the African National Congress (ANC) government.

Describing the current conditions as “sickening and worse,” they highlight issues such as rampant poverty, a lack of order, and a prevailing sense of fear among the elderly. Some bravely shared stories of living in dire conditions, where basic amenities such as proper sanitation are lacking, painting a stark picture of the challenges faced by many South Africans today.

Despite these hardships, they express hope and belief in the EFF as torchbearers of the struggle for justice and equality, drawing parallels to iconic figures such as Nelson Mandela, Peter Mokaba, Robert Sobukwe, and Chris Hani.

The EFF, in turn, welcomes these individuals with honor, recognizing their courage and resilience in the face of adversity. Their stories serve as a poignant reminder of the ongoing fight for freedom and justice in South Africa. The party reaffirms its commitment to stand alongside them and all South Africans in the pursuit of a nation where dignity and prosperity are accessible to all.

Queen Khazeka concludes, “Together, we will continue the legacy of our heroes and work towards a better future for all.”
