Empowering the Community: Local Municipality Hosts Exciting IDP Roadshows for Residents

In an effort to engage and uplift the community, the Winnie Madikizela-Mandela Municipality, recently launched an innovative initiative referred to as the IDP Roadshows. These roadshows provide residents with a unique opportunity to voice their needs and desires as they prepare for the upcoming fiscal year.

The dynamic Cllr TD Mafumbatha, along with dedicated members of his team, recently embarked on an exciting journey to seven different wards in the municipality. These wards, played host to the IDP Roadshows, where community members had the chance to make their voices heard and contribute to shaping their local future.

The following wards had the privilege of hosting these engaging roadshows on the second day of the initiative:

  • Majola Tshutsha Community Hall (Wadi 29)
  • Lugwijini JSS (Wadi 22)
  • Amos Nogxina Community Hall (Wadi 20)
  • Ntabezulu Community Hall (Wadi 19)
  • Ebenezer Community Hall (Wadi 24)
  • Zikhuba Community Hall (Wadi 23)
  • Ntabendlovu Community Hall (Wadi 12)

The IDP Roadshows serve as a vibrant platform for residents to collaborate with their local government and work together to enhance their community’s well-being. These gatherings not only facilitate an open dialogue but also create a sense.
