At just 21, Emihle is making waves as a finalist in Miss Phenomenal South Africa, representing not only herself but also the rich culture and traditions of her hometown.
Emihle’s journey in the pageant world began in 2021 with Mr&Miss Bizana/Winnie, where she discovered her passion for advocating women’s empowerment, intelligence, humanity, and leadership. Determined to break financial barriers and overcome self-doubt, Emihle embarked on a path that led her to the national stage of Miss Phenomenal South Africa.

Her journey has been filled with challenges, from financial constraints to the mental toll of preparing for a national competition. Hailing from the culturally rich village of Kwasilangwe, Emihle remains deeply connected to her roots. “It takes a village to raise a child,” she says, highlighting the community’s role in shaping her strength and wisdom. Financial challenges nearly deterred Emihle from the competition, but with determination, a part-time job, and community support, she is overcoming each hurdle. Her vision goes beyond winning the competition; it includes founding an organization to support vulnerable children in her community, focusing on education, and addressing issues like period poverty, school dropouts, and bullying.
Emihle draws inspiration from Tata Nelson Mandela’s words: “Education is the most powerful weapon one can use to change the world.” With the national stage awaiting her, Emihle envisions representing her region with honor, dignity, and a commitment to fostering positive change.
As she prepares to embark on her first journey to Pretoria, Emihle leaves a powerful message for the youth of Bizana and beyond:
