Learners who wrote the 2025 National Senior Certificate (NSC) examinations will be able to access their matric results through several official channels, including SMS, USSD, mobile apps, online portals, and schools, once results are released in January 2026.
The methods below are confirmed by the Department of Basic Education and provincial education departments.

One of the most common methods is the SMS results service.
Steps to use the SMS service

📌 Important notes:

- Keep your phone switched on during the release period
How much does the SMS service cost?

Department of Basic Education, following approval by Umalusi.
- Results are often sent late at night or early in the morning
