Eastern Cape Music Excellence Acceleration program 2023

The Eastern Cape department of Sport Recreation Arts and Culture (DSRAC) will award eight music excellence acceleration grants to succesful applicants in two categories which are the platinum category where six grants each grant will be R300,000 and the gold category where two grants each grant will be R150,000.

To be eligible, the music producer must be a resident of the Eastern Cape, have been active in the Eastern Cape Music scene in the year 2022/2023, be a full time music production company and be willing to travel to promote the project.

The successful applicant must use the grant to promote either company’s new recordings or expose company’s music at various platforms and develop their brands products.

Eastern Cape based music record labels may apply for one of the eight grants by using the specified form and guidelines are available to all DSRAC district offices.
