Sihle Luthuli (27) who is a nurse at St Elizabeth Hospital in Lusikisiki is facing charges of  corruption.

He appeared im Mthatha High Court after he was arrested by Hawks with allagetions of taking peoples money

According to The report the 27 year old on promised to be helpful to the parents of a student that wanted to study in Walter Sisulu University under Health and Science facalty while he was still in the campus SRC

He charges them a sum of R25 000 in order to assist and push for their child to be admitted with imidiate effect.

The victm’s parents sent the amount on the bank but the child was never accepted to study at the university, when they found out it was too late the was no space for new students.

The parents reported the case to the University and it was transfered to the Hawks for futher investigation.

Sihle was released with a bail of R2 000 and will apear in court on the 7 October 2024.
