President Cyril Ramaphosa reminded the country of the unfortunate Gaza city when he held the 112th ANC birthday at Mbombela Stadium on the 13th of January.

It has been 30 years since the beginning of freedom from the South African apartheid and 112 years for the formation of ANC which helped shape the course of history for this country. At the birthday celebration held at Mbombela Stadium, Mpumalanga Ramaphosa addressed the crowds and urged them to make sure to vote for this party to avoid government coalitions as they serve individuals.

He went on to comment on the situation in Gaza and condemning the decision for America to continue to support Israel and its genocide against Palestine. The war in Gaza is a longstanding conflict between Israel and Palestine militant groups Hamas, which controls Gaza. The conflict is rooted in the 1984 creation of Israel and the displacement of Palestinians. Since Hamas took control of Gaza in 2007, there have been several periods of intense fighting between Hamas and Israel including three major wars in 2008, 2012 and 2014. The fighting has caused thousands of innocent deaths and widespread of property damage.

A law firm in Gqeberha has filed a legal case against the United States for its continuing support of Israel as one of the associates, Wikus Van Rensburg confirmed.

“We have lawyers around the country including in the US helping us with the case Pro Bono. That country should not support apartheid in any form, and we are willing to fight to the end”, said Rensburg.
