Alfred Nzo young female boxers well represented the region on the boxing championship that was held at Gqeberha on Women’s month. Gold medallist Jojo Thandolwethu, silver medallist Dlamini Zimkhitha and Nogobela Amahle. Bronze medallist Ndlaku Ntando (boy).
Nkosentsha Ntintili a founder of Cabazana Boxing Hub says he is overwhelmed by the passion and performance of his boxers in the provincial championship.
“Gold medallist Jojo Thandolwethu is going to represent the province now in national championships and I am confident that she is going to raise the Eastern Cape flag high, also Accounts can recognize her pure talent as early as possible,” said Ntintili
He further says on the 11th of September Alfred Nzo Boxing Council is going to sit a meeting with the municipality, sports council, Department of Sport, Mpucuko sport development, and Alfred Nzo Boxing organization in preparation for the district tournament which will be on the 4 November.
Alfred Nzo has rich pure talented boxers such as Nomeva Ndongeni who is a professional boxer now from Mount Fere therefore we want to produce and develop more professional boxers who are going to represent the region and the province to the world. – said Ntintili
