A women-owned farming venture will receive R900k funding from Isiqalo Youth Fund.

Date:

Premier Oscar Mabuyane will handover R900 thousands  worth of equipment to a women headed farming venture in Ugie through the government’s Isiqalo Youth Fund.

Mnyolo Heights Farm is a 100% black female youth-owned vegetable and livestock production business. Its vision is to produce competitive products by giving value added services and creating a value chain that produces quality products for their customers.

Mabuyane will be handing over agricultural equipment including a tractor; fertilizer spreader; ripper and various other equipment giving a much needed boost to the 165-hector farm, which has created employment for 30 young people from Ugie and supplies its produce to several retail shops including SPAR.
