Last seasons high flyers, Sinenkani FC announced changes to their technical team after an unsatisfactory start to the season. The stubborn army we front runners in their stream last season and participated in the Nedbank Cup but that will not happen this season after they were knocked of the competition’s qualifiers.
The Bizana outfit took to their social media account to announce the return of Phikolomzi “Ree, Maqondana” Noqazo as the headcoach, Mkhulise “Messi” Mfeketho will retain his position as the Assistant Coach and Ayanda Nyasa as the Goalkeeper Coach. In the statement released via their official Facebook page, the stubborn army sited “unsatisfactory results” as what promoted the change.
Against the relatively unsatisfactory performance of the team in the last few games, we have decided to restructure the technical team – said the statement.
The statement’s highlighted the contradiction between results and the talent available in their arsenal to emphasise their point. “We believe Sinenkani FC has the best players to compete in the League and take the team to greater heights. However, we believe that we need to restructure and reconfigure the technical team” – the statement continued.
Coach Noqazo is no stranger to Sinenkani FC as he had previously coached the team in what looked to be a successful season in 2021 but was sacked at the end of the campaign.
