Abongile Gcuda from Bizana is a professional beach soccer player who plays as a striker for Mbumbulu Beach soccer team in KwaZulu Natal, Durban. The 25 year old Nomlacu village boy was representing South African beach team in Hollywoodbets beach Cosafa tournament that was playing here in South Africa. There were two groups, each group had four teams. In group A there was Mozambique, Senegal, Seychelles and South Africa. Group B had Egypt, Tanzania, Uganda and Mauritius.

Gcuda further says he is not working or a schooling at the moment because he currently stuck in professional beach soccer and his intentions for now are to become the best beach soccer beach striker and perhaps go play overseas. Senegal was crowned as 2022 Hollywoodbets beach Cosafa tournament champions after beating Egypt.
