Mount Ayliff young lady by the name of Zisanda Nxokweni has published a book about her horrible story of rape that started when she was only 6 years old by her cousin brother, again when she was 13 year old by another cousin brother and when she was in tertiary level by her instructor.
She says this book tells a story about her horrific days of dark storm she went through. The incidents nightmares lasted almost half of her life till she decided to bust in 2022 then after that she decided to write a book called “I was raped but I came out free”
The book is actually telling a story, educating, encouraging to speak out and empowering women or survivors of rape. She says she grew up with this experience of rape not knowing how to speak about it, when to speak about it, who to speak with and that caused her to grow with that burden till she started seeking help via therapy sessions in 2010/2011.
Now Zisanda Nxokweni has embarked herself on a journey campaigning for every person who is going through Gender based violence to start speaking out and seeking help therefore she is encouraging people to follow her on her socials as Zisanda Nxokweni in order to make things possible to save more lives.
