This week in Parliament includes President Cyril Ramaphosa’s Annual Address to the National Council of Provinces (NCOP) on Thursday, focusing on poverty reduction and tackling the high cost of living. Other key events include debates on World AIDS Day, 16 Days of Activism against gender-based violence, and a focus on crime prevention strategies.
Parliament will also launch Weekly Committee Cluster Media Briefings to enhance transparency. Additional highlights include ministerial statements on Transnet’s reform, digital transformation of Home Affairs, and crime prevention policies.
