KwaBhaca traffic authorities have closed the N2 road at kwaShinta, affecting those driving towards Qumbu and other surrounding KwaBhaca villages. The road closure is part of an enforcement operation targeting drivers who violate traffic laws.

One of the officers on duty mentioned that the focus is on apprehending drivers operating vehicles without valid licenses, expired license discs, and cars with broken windows or doors. The traffic police are committed to ensuring road safety by cracking down on these offenses and advising drivers to be cautious, especially avoiding drinking and driving.

As a result of the road closure, many drivers in KwaBhaca are altering their routes to reach their destinations, including picking up children from school. Motorists are urged to plan their journeys accordingly and comply with road safety regulations.
