In celebration of its 14th anniversary, Inkonjane Community Radio is gearing up for the 4th annual Inkonjane Community Radio Achievement Awards (ICRAS). Since its establishment in 2009, Inkonjane Community Radio has been dedicated to providing quality broadcasting for the AmaMpondo people, serving the Mpondoland region and beyond.
The ICRA Awards, initiated in 2020, have become a highlight in recognizing outstanding achievements of radio presenters and news reporters. These awards aim to applaud exceptional performance, content delivery, and the overall contribution to educating and informing the community.
The ceremony, scheduled for Thursday, December 7, 2023, will take place at the Hluma Lodge in Bizana. Over the years, the event has gained significance with the presence of various stakeholders and colleagues from the media industry. Listeners have actively participated by voting for their favorite presenters and shows in different categories, making the awards a true reflection of community preferences.
